Course description
Climate change is a challenge that must be addressed from all perspectives to find solutions. The Climate Action Academy is an international training program on climate change for different audiences, from educational environments to business decision makers.
The CAA aims to inspire people from different organizations to be change agents on climate change and consequently generate empowerment for their communities.

MSc in Urban Management at Technische Universität Berlin. Co-founder and director of de 2811, a social enterprise dedicated to the regenerative development of communities and the environment with headquarters in Chile, Colombia, Germany and the United States.
Gabriela Carrasco
Business Engineer
Business Engineer and Political Scientist from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, MPA at New York University with a specialization in Social Innovation and Impact Investing. She is co-founder and director of de 2811, a social enterprise dedicated to the regenerative development of communities and the environment based in Chile, Colombia, Germany and the United States.
MartÃn Leal
Business Engineer
Business Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and professor of Social Innovation at the University of Aysén. He has been working on Social Innovation projects since 2016, developing the social innovation ecosystem in higher education and since 2020 executing climate action programs under the wing of 2811.

Expected results
The objective of the Academy is to train people with the minimum contents necessary to prepare for the climate crisis, along with giving them tools to co-create solutions with their communities. People who attend the Climate Action Academy are expected to be able to design action plans, activities, and programs that allow them to face the emerging environmental challenges.
